How this is built. There is no standalone Years 9–10 Agriculture learning area. This guide follows the three Big Ideas of NCEA Level 1 Ag & Hort Science and draws on the Science, Technology and Social Sciences content Year 9–10 students actually meet. The Year 9 / Year 10 split is a sensible teaching order, not an official requirement.
